Monk Fruit is named after the Buddhist Monks that first discovered and cultivated this rare fruit in the remote mountains of Asia over a thousand years ago. The Buddhist masters were called the Luo Han, and legend says that they achieved enlightenment through meditation & prayer. Through their journey, they not only found ascension but also shared this sacred fruit with the rest of the world, which has been used in medicine to raise ones chi and overall health, thus garnering the nickname the “The Immortals Fruit” or “Longevity Fruit”. Our brand, Enlight™, is inspired by their pursuit of enlightenment and the wondrous fruit that they discovered.
